WHEELS & TRACKS 7 1984 DAF in the Netherlands has received orders for over 200 military trucks: 112 5-ton 4x4 Model YA5442 and 18 6-ton 4x2 Model FA1300DF for the Royal Netherlands Air Force and 83 5-ton 4x4 Model YAV2300DHTD for AFCENT (Allied Forces Central Europe). The latter is derived from the 10-ton 6x6 truck which DAF is at present producing for the Netherlands Army. AFCENT — a long-time DAF user — has also ordered 56 full-trailers for the mounting of shelters, to be towed by the new DAFs. |
